Durable Materials

Waterproof and Weather-Resistant: Designed for real-world hunting and training environments.

Made in the USA

We design, assemble, and test tough and user-friendly products, right here in the USA.

Trainer Trusted

Using heavy-duty materials that outlast cheap alternatives, so you train smarter—not replace gear every season.

Field-Tested

Every product is developed and tested by working dog handlers, not just designed in a studio.

Built to Work. Backed by the Field.

Barrows Outdoor was founded by McGehee Porter and Michael Wallace — two handlers who met while training dogs to run hunt tests and field trials. Hours turned into seasons, and one thing became clear: most gear couldn’t keep up.

SO THEY STARTED BUILDING THEIR OWN!

Johnny A.

The bright pink shows up beautifully and my Golden is much more likely to carry the bumper properly due to the shape.

Jill M.J.M.

Bright, tough, and easy for my dog to spot. The pink color really stands out and the bumper feels built to last.

Sarah L.

This slip collar is perfect for training my young dog. I’d definitely recommend it for everyday use or field training.

Janet

Great Whistle, has a good tone that is easy to blow, sound carries well over distance and through wind.
